Funding Opportunities
Active Engagement
The IVMF will actively engage with those funders and grant makers who are interested in funding the institute’s projects and objectives, and will also provide advice, research and insights to funders seeking to develop a strategy related to veterans and families or to evaluate proposals and activities proposed by grant seekers. The IVMF partners with funders and grant making organizations to provide technical assistance and capacity building, community-of-practice development, and other resources to promote success in reaching objectives related to veterans and their families.
A Central Mission
The IVMF will work collaboratively with funders seeking to impact transition, employment, education, entrepreneurship, or to conduct research with or about veterans and their families, their status and transition into civilian life, and veteran-serving organizations.
Long-Term Impact
The IVMF also seeks funding to continue to deliver our program of work, to develop long-term funding, or endowments, in order to plan for impact through long range program development, longitudinal services and tracking for veterans and their families, and more. Projects and outcomes are linked to professional staffing, to deliver specific programs or services, to conduct research, and to engage in innovative program creation and delivery.
The IVMF will respond to funding RFPs and opportunities directly related to our mission, or will develop custom proposals for funding, partnerships, and in response to discussions with funders on specific interest areas.
